- 베트남 세종학당의 한국어 통·번역 교육과정 운영 현황과 발전 방향 -
베트남은 한국과 1992년 국교 수립 이후 다방면으로 교류가 확대되면서 베트남 내 한국 기업이 많아지게 되었다. 그에 따라 베트남 기업에서 한국 어 가능자가 필요하게 되었고, 베트남 내 한국어 교육에 대한 수요가 증가 하게 되었다. 높은 수요에 발맞춰 해외 한국어 보급의 중심 기관인 세종학 당은 베트남에서 2010년 개소를 시작으로 2021년 기준 총 22개소를 운영하고 있으며 일반인을 대상으로 한국어 일반과정부터 심화과정, 특별과정까 지 다양한 한국어 교육 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 최근에는 한국어 통·번 역 교육에 대한 수요가 높아짐에 따라 베트남의 하노이 2 세종학당과 호찌 민 2 세종학당에서 자체 수요 조사를 실시해 통·번역 교육과정을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 베트남 세종학당의 통·번역 교육과정은 아직 정식적인 교육 과정이 배포되기 전이기 때문에 각 학당 상황에 따라 자율적으로 운영 중 이고, 이 과정에서 몇몇 문제점을 발견할 수 있다. 베트남 내 한국어 통·번 역 교육 수요가 지속적일 것으로 전망되는 현시점에서 베트남 세종학당은 현재 운영 중인 한국어 통·번역 교육의 문제점을 보완할 방안을 마련하여 발전해 나갈 필요가 있다. 본고는 한국어 통·번역 교육과정을 운영하는 베 트남 하노이 2 세종학당과 호찌민 2 세종학당 현황을 중심으로 현재 베트 남 세종학당 한국어 통·번역 교육의 문제점과 아쉬운 점을 살펴보고 향후 발전 방안에 대해 제언해보도록 한다.
Current Status of Korean Translation Curriculum of King Sejong Institute in Vietnam and Development Directon
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations with Korea in 1992, Vietnam has expanded exchanges in various ways, and the number of Korean companies in Vietnam has increased. As a result, Vietnamese companies needed Korean speakers, and the demand for Korean language education in Vietnam increased. In line with high demand, Sejong Institute, the center of overseas Korean language distribution, operates a total of 22 places as of 2021, starting in 2010 in Vietnam, and provides various Korean language education programs. Recently, as the demand for Korean translation education has increased, Vietnam's Hanoi 2 Sejong Institute and Ho Chi Minh 2 Sejong Institute are conducting their own demand surveys to operate the translation curriculum. However, since the interpretation and translation curriculum of Sejong Institute in Vietnam has not yet been officially distributed, it is operating autonomously depending on the situation of each school, and some problems can be found in the process. At a time when the demand for Korean translation education in Vietnam is expected to continue, Vietnam's Sejong Institute needs to come up with measures to compensate for the problems of Korean translation education currently in operation. This paper examines the problems and regrets of the current Korean translation education at the Vietnamese Sejong Institute, focusing on the current status of the Hanoi 2 Sejong Institute and Ho Chi Minh 2 Sejong Institute, which run Korean translation curriculum, and suggests future development plans.
