This study aimed to examine the changes in language materials of the revised 2022 Vietnamese language curriculum by comparing them with the 2015 revised curriculum. The language materials include the 'Basic Vocabulary List', 'Basic Communication Expressions' and the 'Introduction' of the Basic Vocabulary List. These materials serve as practical guidelines for teaching, learning, evaluation, textbook writing in the field of foreign language education, and is also used as a scope of CSAT(College Scholastic Abilities Test). To analyze the changes in these language materials, the basic vocabulary list and communication expressions of the 2015 revised curriculum were first examined. Next, the basic vocabulary list and communication expressions of the 2022 revised curriculum were scrutinized to identify the changes. Overall, the language materials of the 2022 revised Vietnamese language curriculum are based on the 2015 curriculum but have seen improvements in areas that required modification and enhancement based on practical applications. Furthermore, it was observed that the language materials have been updated to reflect changes in the era, including the integration of ecological transition education, digital literacy education, and the addition of new vocabulary and communication expressions related to media utilization.
