The purpose of this study is to survey the training situation of Korean- Vietnamese medical interpreters in Korea. The study has provided specific statistics on Vietnamese people's use of Korean medical services in recent years. Thereby, readers can imagine the reality and future of this service field and can also recognize the necessity of training Korean-Vietnamese interpreters for the medical industry. The study of the research article focused on generalizing the course formation process and analyzing and evaluating the course design and teaching content. In particular, the research has focused on factors that directly affect the quality of training, such as learning materials (textbooks, dictionaries, written, audio, and image reference materials), teaching staff, time and place of study, foreign language proficiency of students, etc. Finally, the study offers some recommendations to improve the training quality of the course and improve interpretation skills for students, contributing to increasing exchanges in the field of health and medicine and promoting increasingly diverse relationships between the two countries, Korea and Vietnam.
